- 1
Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and ground black pepper.
- 2
Make the honey garlic sauce: combine the honey, warm water, salt, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper, stirring thoroughly to mix well.
- 3
Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat, then add the vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of the butter.
- 4
Place the pork chops in the skillet and pan-fry one side without moving for 3 to 4 minutes, until a golden brown crust develops.
3:30 timer - 5
Flip and pan-fry the other side for another 3 to 4 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
3:30 timer - 6
Push the pork chops to one side of the skillet and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter to the empty space.
- 7
Once the butter melts, add the minced garlic and saute for about 10 seconds, just until it starts to turn light brown.
- 8
Pour in the honey garlic sauce and cook, stirring occasionally, until it reduces to a thicker consistency and turns a rich amber brown.
- 9
Spoon the sauce over the pork chops, turn off the heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
