Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped shrimp, scallion, and cornstarch. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Add the salt, fish sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper to the filling and stir until everything is evenly combined. Set aside.
- 3
Place a wonton wrapper in the palm of your hand and spoon about 1/2 tablespoon of filling into the center.
- 4
Dip your index finger in water and trace it along the outer edges of the wrapper to moisten them.
- 5
Fold and pinch the edges tightly to seal, making sure there are no openings and the filling is fully enclosed. Repeat to wrap all the wontons.
- 6
Heat oil in a wok or deep pan to about 350°F (175°C) for deep frying.
- 7
Deep-fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- 8
In a small bowl, mix the Thai sweet chili sauce, lime juice, chopped cilantro, and sesame seeds to make the dipping sauce.
- 9
Serve the hot wontons with the sweet chili dipping sauce, or enjoy them plain.
