Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, mix the ground pork, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, fish sauce and white pepper until well combined.
- 2
Scoop a teaspoon of the filling into the center of a wonton wrapper.
- 3
Lightly dab the edges with water, fold over into a triangle and press the edges to seal tightly.
- 4
Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- 5
Heat enough oil in a pot for deep frying to about 350–360°F (175–180°C). Test by dipping a corner of a wrapper — it should bubble right away.
- 6
Carefully add the wontons to the hot oil and fry, flipping, until both sides are golden and crispy.
- 7
Remove and drain on a paper-towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
- 8
Serve hot with Thai sweet chili sauce.
